What is Underfloor Heating System

Underfloor Heating Systems

Heat losses due to poor insulation in enclosed spaces cause significant financial losses. Underfloor heating systems are designed to prevent heat losses originating from the floor, ensuring a better and more comfortable heating of the space.

Advantages of Underfloor Heating Systems

Underfloor heating systems are a heating method carried out through pipes located within the floor concrete. This system, which distributes energy from its power source to every point of the space via floor pipes, is both comfortable and economical. In this system, the pipes laid in the floor concrete distribute heat equally and homogeneously everywhere. Unlike other systems where unnecessary hot air forms with radiators, the heat in this system is distributed proportionally to different points of the space. Thus, economic losses caused by incorrect heating systems are prevented, and the space is heated as desired. Spaces with underfloor heating systems, which provide both horizontal and vertical heat distribution, are warmer. Since heat loss is minimized, heating expenses are reduced. While radiator systems require high boiler water temperatures, fifty degrees Celsius is sufficient for boiler water temperature in spaces with underfloor heating.
